These pilot terms govern access to and use of whimseek.

Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using whimseek, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18 and access the pilot from the United States or Canada. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. Creating an account does not guarantee pilot access; whimseek may place an account on the waitlist.
Permitted use
You may use whimseek only for lawful, personal job-search research, organization, and relationship-building. You are responsible for your inputs, communications, and compliance with applicable laws and the terms of source websites and communication platforms.
Prohibited use
You may not scrape or circumvent access controls, submit another person's credentials, probe or disrupt the service, send spam or unlawful communications, impersonate another person, discriminate unlawfully, or enter sensitive or nonpublic third-party information. You may not use whimseek to make employment decisions about another person or to build a commercial people database.
Your content and professional-source information
You retain rights in information you enter and give whimseek permission to process it only as needed to provide and secure the service. You represent that you may lawfully provide it. Professional information found on public sources may still be inaccurate, outdated, or subject to source-platform restrictions; use it respectfully and verify it before acting.
Service and third parties
whimseek may link to or rely on third-party identity, hosting, search, career, company, and professional websites. Their services and terms are outside whimseek's control. whimseek may change, suspend, or end pilot features and may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, misuse, or legal compliance.
Usage billing
Prices, allowances, discounts, add-ons, billing timing, and taxes are shown before purchase. A journey lasts 30 days; its add-ons expire with it unless stated otherwise. Momentum Week adds seven days to an eligible one-time journey. Add-ons are not cash or stored value. Eligible pilot purchases receive the discount shown at Checkout. Automatic renewal occurs only when selected and continues until canceled through the billing portal. Payments are nonrefundable except where required by law. Reasonable usage, safety, and spending limits may be enforced. The payment processor handles payment details under its own terms and privacy notice.
Journey gifts
A journey gift provides one private, single-use code for the plan shown at Checkout. The recipient must create or use their own eligible whimseek account and controls when to redeem the code. Gift codes have no cash value and cannot be resold or combined with another access code. A purchased gift code does not expire, but the redeemed journey lasts for the period stated with the gift. Payment and refund rules above apply.
Referral credits
A referral is attributed to the first valid referral link associated with a new user. Unless the account page says otherwise, the referrer receives a $5 future-invoice credit after the referred user completes their first successful plan payment or renewal. Referral credits have no cash value, are nontransferable, and are capped at $60 per account per calendar year. Self-referrals, duplicate or fabricated accounts, shared-account schemes, automated referrals, and other abuse are prohibited. whimseek may hold suspicious referrals for review and withhold or reverse a credit when a qualifying payment is refunded, disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid.
No guarantees
whimseek is an organizational and research tool, not a recruiter, employer, law firm, or financial adviser. It does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of a result, an introduction, interview, offer, or other outcome. whimseek does not send outreach automatically; you decide what to send and are responsible for it.
Pilot warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the pilot is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, whimseek is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the pilot. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be presented for acceptance. California law governs these Terms to the extent permitted, without overriding protections that legally apply to you. Questions may be sent through the whimseek help form.
